In this article, I am going to explain 5 different ways to quickly and easily turn off Find My iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch/Apple Watch from computer.
Best of all, 3 of them are totally free to use.
Let’s dig right in…
What is Find My iPhone?
Find My iPhone is a feature of iCloud introduced on iOS 7. It can help you easily locate your iOS devices when they’re not around.
To make things clear, with Find My iPhone enabled, you’ll be able to:
- View the location of your Apple devices on a map.
- Play a sound when you can’t find your Apple devices but think it’s nearby.
- Mark your device as lost. This will prevent someone else from using your device by requiring the Apple ID and password when it’s lost or stolen. And you can also let people know how to reach you by displaying a message on your device screen.
- Erase your device. Find My iPhone gives you an option to remotely erase your Apple device.
- Remove a device from your iCloud account. When you sold your Apple device or send it away, you can remove this device from your iCloud account so that someone else can use their own Apple ID & password on the device.
Find My iPhone has become a way to make Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple Watch, and Mac) less attractive to steal.

How to Turn Off Find My iPhone from Computer without Password?
You may want to turn off Find My iPhone when you are selling your device or at the request of Apple Support prior to getting your device repaired, or prevent someone else from tracking your location.

1Use a Service Turn Off Find My iPhone without Password
In the early days, not being able to turn off Find My iPhone without password has bothered many Apple users. Because it was impossible to disable it without a password.
But not today!
With the development of technology, there are many unlocking services and software tools that can help you deal with this. But we prefer using an iCloud unlock service. This kind of service can remotely turn off Activation Lock together with Find My iPhone from your iOS devices.
After testing a batch of services, we finally found two services that work perfectly:
- AppleiPhoneUnlock (works better for iPhone, Apple Watch)
- IMEIdoctor (works better for iPad)
Both of the two services can turn off Find My iPhone without password or losing data no matter whether your iOS devices are locked or not. Here is how you can them:
Step 1. On your computer open a browser and head over to the AppleiPhoneUnlock (if it’s an iPhone or Apple Watch) or IMEIdoctor (if it’s an iPad).
Step 2. Enter the IMEI or Serial number of your device.
- If your device is locked to iCloud Activation Lock, you can find the info from the Hello screen.
- If not, find the IMEI by dialing *#06#
Step 3. Click on Remove Activation Lock.
Step 4. On the next page, confirm your order info. Both of them offer an option called FastTrack. This will reduce the delivery time to 24 hours. If you’re in a hurry, check that option. Then finish the payment.
After receiving your order, they will disable Find My iPhone with your IMEI number remotely without affecting any of your data.
This way works for all versions of iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS and it is always our first choice when it comes to removing Find My iPhone without knowing the Apple ID or password.

Differing from a service, 4uKey offers a free trial to allow users to test whether their iOS devices are supported or not.

Except for the 4uKey, another software from Tenorshare – 4MeKey can also help you remove Find my iPhone & Activation Lock without password when you don’t know the Apple ID or password. But it will jailbreak your device. I prefer using 4uKey since it’s more secure to your device.
